Super Moss
  A Kettle Gel, Clarifier, and Kettle Coagulent  
  Five Star Super Moss is a negatively-charged, red seaweed based, Kapa and Lambda carrageenan coagulant designed to attract the positively-charged, haze forming proteins. Super Moss is Safe to handle and has been formulated to mix rapidly in cold water. This feature allows it to be added directly to the kettle and carry through to primary fermentation.  
  - Properly used, it can help reduce chill haze. For homebrewing, use at rate of 1/4 tsp. to five gallons. A little goes a long way, you may use less, but do not use more.  
  - Prepare by using a covered jar filled half way with cold water. Add 1/4 tsp. Close jar and shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Moss will swell within ten minutes, then add to the last 15 minutes of boil.  
  - Whirlpool (swirl) the cooling wort to help coagulate the proteins settled by Super Moss.
